Good for quick shopping. Not very crowded. A few places to eat. Overall pretty basic.
I don't even know how this mall is still open. Everyone I've visited (not very often) it is empty. It could be 12 noon or 6:30pm, they are never busy. It is a very small single story mall with a few good stores but not at all worth a trip.
It's better than it was back in the 1980s. I went there as a kid back then and the mall was a fun place. Then when the Middletown Galleria was built the Newburgh Mall was so terrible by comparison. However, now it has been renovated and made a comeback and that is very nice to see. It's never crowded and the mall has a lot of the things you would hope to find in a mall, minus a movie theater.
Everyone was pleasant in the stores. It's a quaint mall. It Has Children's Place and Bath and Bodyworks, some jewelry stores and a nice sized shoe store, GameStop,T-Mobile and a few more places. No food court but two small restaurants and a pretzel stand in the middle.
There isn't much at this run down mall. The stores did not have a good selection of quality merchandise and there is a limited number of stores to begin with. If you need office supplies, tennis shoes or jeans you might find what you're looking for, but not much else. They did have a Bath & Body Works, though, so that was a nice surprise.
