BEWARE!!! Scam Artists For Repairs!!!

I have a Movado watch and lost a link so knowing Kay sells Movado I decided to bring it there. They told me they would have to send it out to Movado to look at as they do not do Movado repairs in house. I also told them I wanted to know how much it would be to polish the watch. Five weeks later, Kay calls me with "Movado's" estimate of $1300. Shocked I asked why so much, the associate goes on to tell me that Movado does not replace just one link and I would need a whole new band and a bungh of other things. (Kay sells my watch brand new for $900) The rep then proceeds to tell me about their Movado "sale" they have going on. Disgusted I told them I do not want the repair and I would be in to pick up my watch. When I got home I wanted to give Movado a call to find out what the story was for myself. Turned out I got the clasp and the polish for $97. Moral of the story?? DONT BRING YOUR REPAIRS TO KAY JEWLERS!!!!!!
