THE RAW TRUTH. This store needs some professional guidance. Whoever is responsible for the overall direction of this store lacks managerial skills and knowledge. The review: I needed an item on the top of a shelf because the items on the (Floor) yes (floor) where damaged and clearly marked damaged. After hiking to customer service because no one was around to assist, the nice lady called an associate to come help. After waiting several minutes like 10 the person came to help but was hauled off to make a couple keys first, so it’s ok to make me wait another 5 or so minutes. After discussing what I needed the associate asked (ME) if he needed a “Picker” I just said it was on the top of a rack. Then after seeing what I needed he says well I’m not going to be able to get this it’s to heavy I have medical conditions. I understand some people have some issues but as the consumer should I be hearing this? Well now he runs off to get help and after another 30 minutes of waiting he comes back and says I talked to the manager someone will be meeting me here. Tap, Tap, Tap another 10 Minutes he runs off again stating well the guy scheduled in tools went home and we are short staffed let me take your number and I’ll call you when we can get it down for you… Are you kidding me? I have almost an hour of my life invested in this at this point. Again should the consumer be subject to what the internal staffing problems are? Why would a manager send staff home on a Saturday/ (Poor Management). I explained that isn’t going to happen and suggested he go get the manager to come talk to me so he went off again this time returns with a couple guys to “Look” then they all go off to get the “Picker” and then get what I needed. At no time of my nearly 90 minutes did I ever encounter the manager. My poor review is not for the employee that helped me he can only do what is allowed, my poor review is for the person supposed to be in charge of the store or lack thereof. 7 OUT PAL!

I enjoy going to Lowe's. Friendly staff that are knowledgeable and know where to find things!

Our experience at this Lowe's had been mediocre until today. Monica, who works in home decor, went out of her way to help me today when she probably did not have to. We had run into a situation where we had a problem with a large custom blind order from another Lowe's in VA. She promptly assisted me and even remained on hold for unnecessary amount of time with the vendor in order to solve a difficult situation that was not from a sale she made. In the end we were able get the correct blinds without an hassle. Fantastic employee! She needs a raise!

I bought 13 new windows and a slider. The windows were installed pretty quickly but I notices 2 weeks later they were on sale and asked for the sale price and Lowe's wouldn't give it to me. As for the slides, Lowe's ordered the wrong one so it had to be sent back and I was told it would take a week to get back to install. After waiting a week I called the sales men and he told me they made a mistake on the door and it would take a month and he would have them install it right when it got back , 2 weeks after me waiting a month the door is finally getting installed. I waited 2 months to have a simple slider installed . I will never buy anything from Lowe's again. I'm very disappointed. Home Depot is right across the street.

This is the worst store to buy new kitchen appliances !!! We had to wait from august to nov to receive our stove and refrigerator. Finally after 6 weeks they showed up on the wrong day with damaged items. Next, electric department sent us 2 hours to buy the wrong electric stuff from a store in PA. Willis the Manager talks down to customers and admits its his employees faults with all issues but does nothing about it. He was rude and condescending. STAY AWAY ON BUYING APPLIANCE AT NEWBURGH LOWES
